What to Do on New Year’s Eve

The Atlanta area offers a wide variety of things to do on New Year’s Eve.  From football at the Chick-fil-A Bowl to a night of entertaining music with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, along with all the traditional celebrations at area restaurants and hotels.  There is the Peach Drop at Underground Atlanta and comedy at Atlanta Improv.  Whatever you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it in the Atlanta area.  For a complete list, check out atlanta.net.

If you’re looking for a way to celebrate with your kids, you can check out atlanta.net or ajc.com   Both the Fernback Museum and Legoland have “Noon Year’s Eve” celebrations.  Stone Mountain has Kid’s Early New Year’s Eve, with snow and fireworks at 9 pm.

If you're looking for something closer to home, in Gwinnett County, you can get some ideas here.  Although the City of Lawrenceville has cancelled their event due to the recent rains, the City of Duluth will be holding their New Year's Eve Celebration.
